Fall Fishing Tip From Ranger Pro Brent Ehrler

Fall is one of my favorite times of year for bass fishing.   I like to cover a lot of water and fish shallow.   This time of year allows me to do just that.  The fish are usually chasing bait and feeding heavily to bulk up for the winter.   When the fish are roaming the shoreline chasing bait my favorite lure is a shallow running Lucky Craft BDS 3 crankbait.  This bait is perfect for winding fast and covering water.   There is one key that I would recommend while fishing in the fall.  The key is to follow the fish shallower as the day heats up.  Typically the mornings are cold and the afternoons warm up.  The fish often move shallower with the warming sun.  Keep this in mind the next time you head out and I'm sure you will have a more productive day.
