Proper maintenance of your trailer is one of the most important things you can do because if you can't get to the lake it pretty much ends your day on the water. I tow my Ranger Z-Comanche about 30,0000 miles a year and with a little preventative maintenance I can travel with confidence. Prior to all of my trips I walk around my trailer and just do a visual inspection and making sure everything appears tight and functioning. I always check the air pressure in my tires - with properly inflated tires it helps save fuel in your tow vehicle and reduces wear on your tires.
